    Strategy Guide

    Dryad
Description - The Dryad is great for blunting enemy attacks. She's best used near choke points like the bridge.

Strategy Guide – The Dryad has a unique attack where she plunges her hands into the ground causing vines to shoot out in front of her stunning any enemy units caught up in the attack. She can be used to support tank units from enemy troops, or even enemy Towers as her Vine Attack will also reset Magic Towers’ DPS.

She can also be used effectively against charging enemy units as her Vine Attack will break the charge of the Golem, Juggernaut and Valkyrie making her one of the most strategic units to use.

    Strengths
    - The Dryad’s high health coupled with her vine’s ability can be used to disrupt attacking enemy units stopping them in their paths.
    - Her Vine Attack can be used to stop charging units such as Golem, Juggernaut and Valkyrie.
    - The Dryad's Vine Attack will also reset Magic Towers’ DPS, very useful.
    - Can be used to support all Tank units by keeping enemy units from attacking.

    Weakness
    - Her slow hit speed can leave her open to attack, so supporting her with a high DPS unit such as the Sharpshooter or Berserker is always a good idea.
    - All Flying units, like the Goblin Flyers, as the Dryad has no way to defend against these flying menaces.
    - The Dryad can stun Tank units but her low/medium DPS means that she needs other supporting units to successfully defeat Tank units like the Ogre Brute.
    - Most fast attacking units such as the Sharpshooter, Harpy, and Hunting Party are particularly dangerous for the Dryad as her slower attack speed leaves her at a distinct disadvantage.

If hit speed is 1.8s, then why dmg is same as dmg/s. Is this a mistake? It is the same in the game.

Good spot, after double checking it turns out there was a typo in the document I got the stats from, which is also the same document that the game uses to report the stats in-game on the character description screen, this did not affect the actual DPS of the Dryad though which has always been correct. Thanks for pointing that out

          Summary:
-Dryads are medium speed: high health: long range splash line; that attack at a moderate pace.

-Can be used to disrupt damage progression of the Magic Tower, causing catastrophic failure of the dps output.
*works on all towers and castles

-The high health and Vines ability of this unit can be used to divert agro and slow oncoming units.

-GREAT when used in conjunction with almost any formation. Capable of long range dps: enemy damage reduction: enemy movement control: formation, or as a tank.
