    Strategy Guide

    Hunting Party
Description - These six archers deal death from a distance.

Strategy Guide - The Hunting Party is a Horde Card that can turn the tide on most enemy offensive pushes. Spawning six Rangers whose combined damage per second can destroy even the toughest of tank units and if left unchecked are perfect for dealing with the Ogre Brute. These long-range archers attack both ground and air targets. However, due to their low health and tight-knit formations they can be susceptible to Splash Damage from Spells such as the Blast Spell, or units such as the Goblin Bomber or a deployed Kusk.

To counter the Hunting Party, a good tactic to use would be to combine a spell such a Freeze to stop the Hunting Party in their tracks, followed quickly by a Goblin Bomber who can take them out safe in the knowledge that their arrows won't be flying his way anytime soon. Alternatively, dropping a low cost unit such as the Dwarves to distract them, followed by a much higher cost/damage unit such as the Warg Pack or Berserker.

    Strengths
    - The Hunting Party can be placed behind some friendly tanks or towers to cause damage from a distance, especially effective against enemies such as the Goblin Flyers or Goblin Airforce.
    - Can cause huge damage to enemy tank units such as the Ogre Brute, Berserker or Forest Dragon quickly.
    - When properly supported, the Hunting Party can make short work of most enemy units.

    Weakness
    - Units with splash damage such as a well-positioned Forest Dragon, Goblin Bomber or Berserker. But they are also vulnerable to certain spells like the Spikes Spell or Blast Spell.
    - A Hero like Mason or Kusk can destroy or at least greatly damage your hunting party, so try to time placing them after the enemy uses their Deployed Hero.
    - A distracted Hunting Party can be eliminated with 2 tosses of dynamite from the Goblin Bomber. The Forest Dragon is also effective, although it takes longer.

    Summary:
-Hunting partiees are medium speed, low health, units with average speed and low damage in a horde allowing for devastating long range damage.

-The Strength of the hunting party is dependent on their tight knit formation and range.

    Strength:
-Can eradicate any Massive health unit in seconds.
-Near massive damage per second, resulting in sustained ranged destruction of any unit.
-When properly supported with high health units, the Hunting Party can make short work of anything.

    Weakness:
-Due to tight knit formations, the hunting party is completely destroyed with Blast.
-Plague is cheaper and kills them and more, but takes time.
-All area of effect spells and abilities.
-A distracted Hunting Party can be destroyed with 2 tosses of dynamite from the Goblin Bomber. Forest Dragon takes longer.
-Splash, due to tight nit formations the rear rank pushes the from rank into masons tower.

    Spells-
    -Blast
    -Plague
-Spike Trap make the Hunting Party susceptible to any further damage.
-Freeze stops the Hunting Party from acting, making them vulnerable. (especially to wargs and bomber)

    Anti-Tactic:
-Dwarves or better, followed by a Warg Pack.
-Freeze, followed by a Goblin Bomber
    -Blast
-Plague is slow and allows too much damage to occur. Still worth casting with Spikes.
-Spikes kill no one, but critically reduces the hp of the Hunting Party.

    Role in Formations:
    -Main damage.
-Moderate health, high numbers, and massive damage allows this unit to be effective alone and better with support.
-When encountering an enemy formation on the field, the long range of the Hunting party allows them to take the lead, followed closely by High Health support.

*I would compare it to the Warg Pack.

Anti-Tactic: Mason or beserker can take out all 6 of them in 1 blow, same applies to hero power of mason, one sling and goodbye to a very very expensive unit.

ps: Drop mason in center or beserker in front when they begin attacking tower
