    Strategy Guide

    Sharpshooter
Description - This elite Elven sniper fires rapidly from long range, devastating foes with her crossbow.

Strategy Guide – The Sharpshooter has the longest-ranged attack of all the units, with only a deployed Ember Hero able to offer any competition. This long-ranged attack makes her the ideal unit for escorting other troops to their destination. This also means that the Sharpshooter can stay out of reach of hero castle defenses, picking away at the enemy hero’s health little by little. Good for dealing with troublesome flying attacks but, due to her single target attack, flying hordes such as the Goblin Airforce can make short work of her.

Another advantage to her long-ranged attack is that you can drop her near the center of the battlefield and she’ll be able to defend both paths at the same time until she is drawn out of position. Finally, she can be dropped behind a tower to offer covering fire while the attacking units concentrate on the tower allowing her to deal as much damage possible.

    Strengths
    - Can be placed behind other units or Towers to offer covering fire.
    - The long-range attack leaves her out of range of most hero tower defenses and also able to start causing damage to attacking units before they are able to get themselves within range.
    - A good ranged unit that can be dropped behind Tanks such as the Ogre Brute, Juggernaut or Forest Dragon.

    Weakness
    - The Sharpshooter can easily be overwhelmed by Horde troops such as the Goblin Horde or Goblin Airforce if not protected well enough.
    - A good tactic to use against the Sharpshooter is to surround her with lots of cheap elixir costing units such as the Goblins, Dwarves or Axe Throwers to effectively create your own mini-horde.
    - Splash damage units like Forest Dragon and Cannon Towers. Flying units such as the Goblin Airforce and units with high health like the Berserker.

    Summary:
-The Sharpshooter is a massive health, very long range ground unit that does moderate damage at a moderate rate.

Extra .25 range allows the Sharpshooter to freely attack the Mason castle.

    Compare To:
    -Harpy
    -Warlock
    -Banshee
    -Rangers/HP

    Note:
-Easily the most over and under estimated creep in the game. Less affective than we hope, more devastating than we anticipate...
*it had 3 goblins coming at a bow tower and then the sharpshooter...then frenzy happened...then regeneration!

    Use in Formation:
    -Anti-Air
    -Sustained damage
    -Long range aggro diversion
    -Extra long range damage

    A learners deck: 2.5 Elixir
-1st Rank Dwarves, 2nd Axe Throwers, 3rd, Rangers, 4th Sharpshooter. Wargs for front line reinforcement. Support with Spikes and Plague. Enhance with Frenzy or Regeneration.
*Might as well use Ember as a 5th rank.
    **I use The Crypt Lord.
***Take this deck and alter it to better serve your playstyle.
