    Strategy Guide

    Warlock
Description - One ice-cold spellcaster who freezes his foes before blasting them with magic.

Strategy Guide – Warlocks have hearts as cold as the ice they freeze their enemies with, capable of stopping even the largest of creeps in their tracks. Warlocks are able to strike enemies from afar using their magic but be sure to protect them from attack as they’re low health at lowers levels leaves them open to counterattack from horde units such as the Goblin Airforce or Goblin Horde.

Each time the Warlock is upgraded, not only does he gain extra health & damage points, but his freeze spell duration also increases, giving you longer to cause as much damage as possible. The Warlock is a good troop to pair with tanks who can take the hits while the Warlock does the damage.

    Strengths
    - Can be used to protect vulnerable towers with their freeze spell attacks which will freeze enemy units allowing the tower to cause as much damage as possible.
    - Can freeze even flying units, perfect for allowing you time to counter or build up elixir.
    - A good ranged unit that can be dropped behind Tanks such as the Ogre Brute, Juggernaut or Forest Dragon.

    Weakness
    - Low health makes them susceptible to all Hero powers and castle defenses and low-cost spells like Spikes.
    - Splash damage units like Forest Dragon and Cannon Towers. Flying units such as the Goblin Airforce and units with high health like the Berserker or Sharpshooter.
    - Due to his lower health, the Warlock is susceptible to all Hero powers and even low damage spells like Spikes.

    Summary:
-Warlocks are medium speed, high health, unit that deals moderate/high damage, slowing nearby enemies at a slow rate, with a long duration freeze ability, capable of withstanding massive damage; half as much damage as the Juggernaut.
    *hey jugg!

    Strength:
-Level progression shows that a single attack from the Warlock can consistantly destroy Goblin Flyers/Air Force units, even at a higher effective unit level.
-The reduction of movement speed and attack speed signicicantly reduces the effectiveness of high cost, single units, and tight formations.

    Weakness:
-Compared to a Freeze Spell, the placement options of the Warlock are limited. (is a poor substitute for Freeze) Freeze effect is planned for defence in deck building phase.

*a lot of play testing needed to compare warlock to other units in single combat.
