    Strategy Guide

    Assassin
Description - A stealthy Umbral Elf who can appear anywhere in the battle, thanks to his crafty smoke bombs.

Strategy Guide – Shrouded in secrecy, the Assassin is the only unit that can be spawned behind enemy lines with his cunning use of smoke-bombs to mask his approach. Being fast on his feet does come at a price though, the Assassin must get up close and personal to launch his melee attack, but this also leaves him exposed to attack from projectile using troops such as the Sharpshooter and Rangers/Hunting Party or Magic User units such as the Warlock, Forest Dragon, and Banshee. Due to his stealthy approach, the Assassin can be used effectively against Towers, as long as you remember to distract any defending units first.

    Strengths
    - The Assassin is a very fast unit that targets single units with his melee attack.
    - The Assassin can be deployed anywhere on the battlefield, even behind enemy lines with the use of his stealthy smoke-bombs to cover his tracks.
    - If used correctly, the Assassin can be used to counter units such as the Goblin Bomber, Assassin or Sharpshooter that are attacking other units.
    - Can be used to attack towers from behind and if coupled with other units that are attacking from the front this means you are able to attack towers from two angles of attack.
    - The Assassin can also be used as a distraction for Cannon Towers to allow Horde units like the Goblin Horde or Goblin Airforce to attack unchallenged.

    Weakness
    - His slow hit speed can leave him open to attack, so it’s best to either send in some reinforcements with him for protection, or if deploying him behind enemy lines then consider protecting him using the Blast Spell, Plague Spell or Dragon Flame.
