  • Min/Max Flow

    Flow:
-"Being in the zone, is the mental state of operation in which a person performing an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity."

Time stands still, yet happens all at one. Congratulations, you have achieved flow. Achieving and maintaining a hyper state of awareness is a skill all in its own. The benefits should be maximised and the negatives be minimised.

    Strength:
-Hyper awareness allows a player to quickly analyze a battlefield, make large scale calculations, regulate timing and unit placement, anticipate ones opponent, etc.
Achieving flow is also called "fun".

    Weakness:
-Flow drain can leave you unable to preform the above Strength intermittently, or altogether.
    -Increased stress and mood swings.
    -Feeling fuzzy or tired.

    Theory:
-Flow is a powerful tool, but if used or timed improperly it can have devastating consequences on your match.
-Proper mitigation can prevent mishaps in your game performance.
    Mitigation:
-BREATH...Actively focusing in your breath not only increases your ability to regulate flow, but reduces the fatigue you suffer from revving into overdrive.
-Stay hydrated. Proper hydration is the most important thing you could do in your life.
-Take frequent breaks. Allowing your mind the ability to recharge will reduce the risk of flow drain during a match. Keeping your units placed on time and accurately placing your troops in the proper order.

    Conclusion:
-It is best to stay out of flow. Most tasks do not require you to be over revved and exerting yourself.
-Save the best of you for when you need your best.
    -BREATHE.
